PANAJACHEL–6 month old Alex is one of the babies receiving formula regularly through general contributions to the Food and Milk Program. He is pictured here with his grandmother and his 18yr old mother. His grandmother also has a baby the same age as him.
Alex is malnourished and we are providing him with formula to nourish him and build him up for his upcoming trip to the U.S. He is going to be operated on for his cleft palate. Alex will be fostered in the U.S. with a family that is very excited to have him come.
